The objective of the Smart Villages project is to make the villagers self –reliant through learning and sharing. LAUF will facilitate the process of discovery helping villagers reflect on their strengths, indigenous knowledge, areas of improvement, and make decisions on what changes they would like to make so that every member of the community has the opportunity to achieve their potential. LAUF will support the whole process of smart village development but villages will make their own decisions based on what is unique to them and what direction they want to take.

We will begin with a few champion villages, which can later influence change in other villages.
